FFA Cup Round 4 Update: Wins for Inner West Hawks and St George FC

Thursday evening played host to a further two round 4 FFA Cup Preliminary round of matches as NPL 2 NSW Men’s side St George FC and NPL 3 NSW Men’s club Inner West Hawks progressed to the next stages of the prestigious knockout Cup competition.

Lambert Park hosted the Hawks’ 2-0 victory over Southern Districts FA side FC Eagles. Sid Malhotra struck first in the 13th minute before Diego Cuadros iced the result in the 88th minute after coming on as a substitute.

While at the Ilinden Sports Centre NPL 2 NSW Men’s outfit St George FC easily disposed of NPL 4 NSW Men’s outfit Western NSW. Manny Gonzalez was in fine striking form bagging a double while Brad Bartels, Gabriel Lopez and Liam McConaghy all joined in on the action.

Five matches remain to close out Round 4 with St George City taking on Bankstown United on Tuesday 20th of April at Peakhurst Park while Lane Cove FC entertain the Bonnyrigg White Eagles at Blackman Park on the same night.

Wednesday 21st of April will feature Western Rage taking on Sydney Olympic while the Mounties Wanderers tackle the Gladesville Ryde Magic at Cook Park.

Round 5 of the FFA Cup draw will be announced by Football NSW on Wednesday 21st of April, stay tuned for the times via our website and social media channels.
