Inter Lions to celebrate Female Football Week on Sunday

In the spirit of celebrating Football NSW’s Female Football Week, National Premier Leagues 2 NSW Women’s side Inter Lions FC have invited mothers, guardians, and grandmothers to walk out with their respective players prior to its round 6 clash against the Northbridge Bulls at Majors Bay Reserve in Concord this Mother’s Day on Sunday.

Inter Lions FC’s Female advocate and Women’s and Girls SAP Coordinator Vesna Drazenovic was looking forward to putting on a day celebrating the women’s game.

“Inter Lions FC will be celebrating Mother’s Day by uniting everyone in the spirit of Football NSW’s Female Football Week with our home fixture against the Northbridge Bulls this Sunday by inviting mothers and grandmothers to walk out with the players.

“Inter Lions FC has been a dedicated partner of Football NSW and have been instrumental in the developmental pathway of all female footballers.

“One thing’s for sure, Mothers will be definitely uniting at Inter Lions FC in the festival of female football with their daughters.”
