Finalists galore as Champions shine in Fustal Schools Championships in Bankstown

Condell Park’s Bankstown Basketball Stadium recently played host to the 2021 Futsal Schools Championships where as many as ten age groups participated in what was an outstanding few days for the sport of Futsal.

Prior to Greater Sydney going into lockdown, the action was fierce and strong as Moriah College kicked off on a winning note taking out both the 10 Boys and 10 Girls Finals.

The 13 Boys and Girls age groups belonged to St Spyridon College who won their Finals matches respectively while in the 14 Boys, Matraville Sports High beat Thomas Hassell Anglican College in a tight 2-1 affair.

The 14 Girls was one way traffic as Ryde Secondary College cruised to a 6-0 win over Al Zahra while Moriah College defeated St Scholastica’s 2-1 in the 16 Girls final.

The 16 Boys saw Kogarah High bag a massive win coming back to defeat St Spyridon College 4-3.

In the Open Girls Final St Scholastica’s needed penalties to knock down Sydney Secondary College 6-5, while in the Open Boys the Sydney Secondary College got some revenge as they defeated Strathfield South 2-1.
