National Premier Leagues 3 NSW Men’s side Rydalmere Lions FC have announced that Head Coach and Scottish legend Gavin Rae along with assistant and fellow Scotsman Neil Jablonski have parted company with the club citing family and business reasons as the dynamic duo have also confirmed they’ll be taking a break from the game.

Both Rae and Jablonski had a fantastic two years at the ambitious club with Rydalmere Lions FC Head of Football’s Simon Doueihi stating the pair brought back a winning culture to the club in his heartfelt social media address regarding their departure.

“Both their leadership and passion for the game brought back the wining culture that has reunited our families and community,” Doueihi stated in the club’s official press release.

“Their leadership and positive attitude filtered down from first grade all the way through to our youth and SAP teams.

“This by far was the best coaching roster our club has ever seen.

“We understand both coaches made their decisions to focus on work and family life.

“In light of this, on behalf of the Rydalmere Lions Football Club we wish both an amazing future that is filled with prosperity, good health and success.

“You both leave a legacy that will always be in our hearts.”

The club will announce in due course the new coaching staff that will take charge of the seniors for season 2022.
