Ryan Shepheard selected to officiate at the 2021 FIFA Futsal World Cup
NSW born referee Ryan Shepheard will be flying the Australian flag proudly as the 44-year-old was selected to officiate at the upcoming 2021 FIFA Futsal World Cup held in Lithuania.
Known as being Australia’s leading Futsal referee, Shepheard’s duties will commence when the tournament kicks off on the 12th of September.
Shepheard forms part of a strong 38 officials setup selected by FIFA, representing each Football Federation Confederation from across the globe.
Part of the NSW Futsal Referees Association, Shepheard has been at the forefront of the Futsal game leading from example as one of the finest referees in the business.
Having been listed as FIFA Futsal referee since 2009, Shepheard, a former A-League referee, kicked-off his refereeing journey in Manly and from there has seen him officiate at local, state, national and international level.
