Office of Sport to offer Member protection training in November
The NSW Office of Sport will a deliver a webinar on Monday, 8 November to help sporting organisations protect club members from issues such as harassment, discrimination and abuse.
Member Protection Information Officers (MPIO) play a vital role in protecting the rights and welfare of club members as the ‘go to’ person to raise issues, concerns and complaints.
The training involves two free components:
- Play by the Rules online MPIO module – hosted on the Sport Integrity Australia e-learning hub.
- Office of Sport webinar session – two-hour practical session.
