Football to be represented at upcoming NSW Community Sports Awards
Football will have two representatives that have been nominated for this year’s 2022 NSW Community Sports Awards to be held on Thursday 30th of June at CommBank Stadium with Hawkesbury City’s David Bertenshaw and Northern Tigers’ Fin Geraghty named as finalists.
David Bertenshaw lives and breathes Hawkesbury City and has given his all for the sport as a coach, administrator, and volunteer for well over 30 years.
The “legend” of Hawkesbury has been nominated in the ‘Distinguished Long Service Award’.
While Fin Geraghty has been touted as the next rising coach to look out for.
The youngster has been nominated for the ‘Young Coach of the Year’ award following his achievements with the Northern Tigers and XLR8 Player Development program.
Football NSW would like to acknowledge the two gentleman and are wishing them all the best for the finals.
