Football NSW’s Annual NOVA Employment Football4all Gala Day will be held this Sunday 26th of June at Valentine Sports Park and it is one event that we all cannot wait for.

The Gala Day will kick-off at 9am and conclude at 3pm at the ‘Home of Football’ in Glenwood.

The event is free for all participants.

The NOVA Employment Football4all Gala Day is a fantastic event that emphasises the fun and happiness that football can bring to everyone.

A Football NSW initiative introduced in 2008, the NOVA Employment Football4all Gala Day aims to give people with a disability an avenue to enjoy a wonderful day of football with family and friends.

Football NSW CEO Stuart Hodge was looking forward to the increasingly popular event and offered his comments on what will be an unforgettable day for all involved.

“At Football NSW, we are committed to providing opportunities for those who wish to play a form of the beautiful game.

“Our dedication to inclusivity will be on display this Sunday as we celebrate our eleventh NOVA Employment Football4all Gala Day 2022 in what promises to be the biggest one yet especially following on from a two-year hiatus since we last hosted it due to the pandemic.

“I appreciate and understand how important this event is to everyone who participates, and their families.

“Valentine Sports Park will yet again play host in what will be a fun filled day that will bring together an opportunity for people with a disability or special needs to enjoy our beautiful game.

“NOVA Employment football4all Gala Day has been one of the showpiece events on the Football NSW calendar for quite some time now with the event growing in both size and media coverage.”

It’s been two years since we last saw this event take shape due to the COVID lockdowns, so rest assured this Sunday’s NOVA Employment Football4all Gala Day promises to be one of the biggest ones yet with key activations and activities as well as special guests organised for the day.

The day lives off the ethos of creating a supporting network for volunteers, coaches, parents, and players to get involved in inclusion football as well as experiencing all its benefits.

There will be plenty of off-field entertainment on the day including special guests, NOVA Employment BBQ, stalls, jumping castle, face painting, inflatable football dart board and shooting target as well as raffles, showbags and medals galore.

Let’s not forget the Powerchair Football action that will take centre stage at the Futsal court at Valentine Sports Park either.
