Vacancy – Chief Executive Officer

Football NSW is the governing body for Association Football and Futsal in New South Wales (except for the northern regions which are governed by Northern NSW Football) and is a member of the national governing body, Football  Australia (FA).

With over 230,000 registered players, Football NSW is the largest member federation in Australia and the largest State Sporting Organisation. Football NSW governs 32 member-associations and runs several elite semi-professional competitions that are just below the top tier of professional football in Australia, the A-League.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is pivotal in providing leadership and a clear sense of direction for Football NSW, with overall executive responsibility for the development and execution of FNSW’s Strategic Plan. The position is responsible for building FNSW’s profile and brand and leading the stewardship and development of FNSW Members and Stakeholders.

The CEO will be highly visible in the football community and active in the development of impactful relationships with Associations and Clubs; business leaders and their organisations, other Member Federations, government, and the media, to further the profile and capacity of FNSW, and to build new and enduring partnerships.

This is an excellent opportunity to continue your career as a Chief Executive Officer or to step into the role utilising skills and experience gained from a Senior Executive role. This role is based in Glenwood, Sydney.
