Kicking off the Round, SD Raiders Futsal face off against second place South Coast Taipans at Fairfield Youth and Community Centre.

SD Raiders Futsal remain within striking distance of the top four despite their 8-0 loss to Boomerangs FS last weekend in Canberra. The addition of Ashlie Crofts to their solid line-up which includes Jessica Neville and Ellie-Leigh Lontis make them a formidable line-up.

South Coast Taipans showed off their clinical edge in their 9-3 win against Phoenix Futsal Club and will be a tough side to beat this season. Megan Grew and Abigail Jordan have been consistent for the club and will be key to their performance in Fairfield.

Boomerangs FS vs Phoenix Futsal Club, Saturday 22 October, 3:50pm, MPowerdome

Leaders Boomerangs FS welcome Phoenix Futsal Club to the MPowerdome down in Canberra on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts laid down a huge marker with their 8-0 win against SD Raiders Futsal and now have a homestand to build momentum. Boomerangs FS have only conceded four goals all season so getting through their defence is a big ask for anyone.

Phoenix Futsal Club had a tough weekend with their huge loss to South Coast Taipans and now head down to take on the top team in the competition. They will lean on Teresa Morabito and Ashley Limnios to keep them competitive in Canberra.

Sydney City Eagles vs Raiders Futsal Club, Saturday 22 October, 3:50pm, Thomas Hassell Anglican College

A top four clash between Sydney City Eagles and Raiders Futsal Club unfolds at Thomas Hassell Anglican College on Saturday afternoon.

Coming into this game, Sydney City Eagles are riding a wave of three games unbeaten and look to cement their spot in the top four on Saturday. The Eagles set a high standard so they will want to start quick against a tough side.

Raiders Futsal Club were involved in the Match of the Round against Sydney Futsal Club winning 4-2 and have found a spot in the top four which adds some spice to the clash. The combination between Gemma Morgan and Ellie Smyth will be key to the result.

Sydney Futsal Club vs West City Crusaders, Saturday 22 October, 4:20pm, NC of Indigenous Excellence

Sydney Futsal Club finish off the round against West City Crusaders at the NC of Indigenous Excellence on Saturday night.

The hosts showed some fighting spirit against Raiders Futsal Club in their 4-2 loss in the Match of the Round last weekend and will want to build on that on Saturday. Annalise Schiraldi and Mya Callil were standouts in the game and look to repeat that performance at home.

The Crusaders were narrow losers against Sydney City Eagles 3-2 and have had quite a few close losses which has them on the outside looking in at the top four. Having a strike weapon like Holly Williams and her combination with Holly Pender gives them a chance in any game.
