FIFA Referee Allstar cast set to officiate in this weekend’s Futsal Premier League
It will be a special weekend in round 7 of the Futsal Premier League Open Men’s and Women’s competitions with six FIFA Futsal Referees set to officiate in a handful of matches.
Proud New South Welshmen and FIFA Futsal accredited officials Ryan Shepheard, Andrew Best, Jonathon Moore and Darius Turner alongside Afghani FIFA Futsal referee Tamim Hussaini and Mongolian FIFA Futsal referee Jargalsaikhan Rentsenkhand will all take part in various Futsal Premier League games on Saturday.
“The FIFA futsal referees bring a huge amount of experience and skill to the Futsal Premier League,” said Referees Manager Rob Nieuwenhuis.
“It also shows the pathways that exist within Futsal – you can reach the peak of refereeing via Futsal which is a great opportunity.
“It’s fantastic to see that all referees are members of the NSW Futsal Referees Association.”
While the NSW Futsal Referees Association paid tribute to this momentous occasion for the sport.
“It is fantastic to see these referees being available to officiate on our competitions but also having them pass on their experience to our next batch of budding elite match officials who will have the privilege of officiating with them.”
