St George FC Grade 20’s Women honoured by local council

It was a season to remember for League One Women’s outfit St George Saints FC after taking out the 2022 Championship trophy in the Grade 20’s Women’s competition.

The team finished second on the ladder after 30 matches but went on to defeat an undefeated Northbridge Bulls side to clinch the trophy.

For their amazing efforts, Bayside Council Mayor Dr Christina Curry acknowledged the team’s amazing feat as they thanked the players, coaches, managers and supporters on what was a great year for the club by presenting them with a Certificate of Recognition.
