Round 10 in the Futsal Premier League 2 Open Men’s competition offers up another chance for teams to start their run into the final month of the season coming up. We have three games of fantastic futsal action to enjoy. Let’s get onto the preview!

Boomerangs FS vs Sydney City Eagles, Saturday 12 November, 4:10pm, MPowerdome

We kick off the weekend with an enticing matchup between Boomerangs FS and Sydney City Eagles at MPowerdome on Saturday afternoon.

Boomerangs FS head into this game off four straight wins after their 3-2 success over Sydney Futsal Club in Redfern last weekend. William Manalo is one of the strong parts of the hosts line-up and always puts in a good shift on the pitch.

For Sydney City Eagles, they come into this game at the top of the pops after their pulsating 8-4 win over SD Raiders Futsal in last week’s Match of the Round. Patrick Antelmi scored a pair of goals in the game and his work up top will be key for them down in Canberra.

Phoenix Futsal Club vs SD Raiders Futsal, Saturday 12 November, 5:10pm, The Centre – Dural

A resurgent Phoenix Futsal Club welcome SD Raiders Futsal to The Centre – Dural for an important game on Saturday afternoon.

Phoenix Futsal Club have won back-to-back games for the first time in the 2022 season and aim to take a big scalp when they take on the second place side. Connor Slater fired home in the win and look to add to his two goals already for the year on Saturday.

This weekend is a chance for SD Raiders Futsal to arrest their slide in the last fortnight which has seen them lose back-to-back games for the first time all year. Captain Simon Nicholas leads the side from the front and hopes the goals will fly in on Saturday.

South Coast Taipans vs Sydney Futsal Club, Saturday 12 November, 5:40pm, UOW Sports Hub

Finishing off the round is South Coast Taipans hosting Sydney Futsal Club at UOW Sports Hub on Saturday afternoon.

The Taipans will be keen to avenge their 4-2 loss to Sydney Futsal Club back in Round 2 and try to work their way back into the top four. Kyle Del has been a consistent performer for the hosts and aim to continue his work on Saturday.

Sydney Futsal Club hope to get that winning feeling back after a series of losses which has them anchored to the bottom of the FPL2 Open Men’s ladder. They will lean on goal scorer from last week Bruno Lariccia to help them complete the sweep on the Taipans.

Raiders Futsal Club vs West City Crusaders OM has been moved to Wednesday 16 November, 8pm, Thomas Hassell Anglican College
