Headed into the final weekend of the Futsal Premier League 2 Open Mens competition still has plenty to offer with a title decider to headline Round 14. There is something left for all eight teams to play for to round out the regular season.

Let’s get onto the preview.

Raiders Futsal Club vs Sydney City Eagles, Saturday 10 December, 4:50pm, Thomas Hassell Anglican College

It is a title decider at Thomas Hassell Anglican College between Raiders Futsal Club and Sydney City Eagles on Saturday afternoon.

Raiders Futsal Club set themselves up for this with a huge 7-0 win over Sydney Futsal Club and now have a chance for some silverware to end the regular season. Christopher Godoy Bascur will be key for them with his combination work with his fellow attackers.

For their part, Sydney City Eagles are in blistering form after their 9-3 win at this same venue against West City Crusaders. Patrick Antelmi has 11 goals in the last month and one of the main attacking weapons for the Eagles.

Both sides will be playing for the Nicholas Hoenselaars Cup to honour Nicholas Hoenselaars who played for both teams on a big afternoon for the teams.

West City Crusaders vs Sydney Futsal Club, Saturday 10 December, 4:50pm, PCYC Hawkesbury

Two sides looking to end the season a high clash when West City Crusaders host Sydney Futsal Club at PCYC Hawkesbury on Saturday.

West City Crusaders will be motivated to finish off strong at home after a six-goal defeat against Sydney City Eagles last weekend away from home. One of the standouts for the side this year has been Ryan Faulkner and he will want to add to his nine goals for the season.

Looking at Sydney Futsal Club, it has been a tough season for the club who will finish on the bottom of the FPL2 Open Mens ladder. There are some bright spots with some youth players showing promise and possibly set them up for next year.

South Coast Taipans vs SD Raiders Futsal, Saturday 10 December, 5:40pm, UOW Sports Hub

South Coast Taipans face off against SD Raiders Futsal at UOW Sports Hub on Saturday afternoon to round off their season.

The Taipans have fallen just short of making the top four but did take three vital points in their 3-2 win over Phoenix Futsal Club away from home last week. Cody Waller had a brace in that win and look to sign off on a high.

SD Raiders Futsal will be gearing up for the finals next week with this fixture after sitting in third spot on the FPL2 Open Mens ladder. The combination between Matthew Barkho and Simon Nicholas is key to their success and will be firing on Saturday.

Phoenix Futsal Club vs Boomerangs FS, Saturday 10 December, 6:10pm, The Centre – Dural

We finish the weekend with Phoenix Futsal Club hosting finals bound Boomerangs FS at The Centre – Dural on Saturday night.

Phoenix Futsal Club are aiming to end their season on a high after their close loss to South Coast Taipans at home last weekend. Connor Slater scored in that defeat and he will look to find the back of the net again on Saturday.

After a slow start, Boomerangs FS have been churning through games and picking up results which means they will be playing finals football next weekend. Nicholas Dahl scored the first two goals in their win over SD Raiders Futsal and will want to repeat his performance.
