Football NSW Futsal School Championships Registrations Now Open

After a massive 2022 competition with over 1000 teams and over 235 different schools competing, the Football NSW Futsal School Championships are back in 2023 and registrations are now open.

The 2023 edition is increasing to 14 different regions, with the reintroduction of the Northern Beaches region.

The Football NSW Futsal School Championships are one of the highlights on the school sport calendar and has been delivered for over 15 years.

With so much buzz for futsal at the moment, Football NSW are excited to be able to provide students and schools with the opportunity to play futsal in a safe, enjoyable, yet challenging environment.

These unique championships are open to all schools, which provides schools the opportunity to play and compete against a variety of different schools across NSW.

This exciting event is offered to Boys and Girls aged 10, up until the Opens age group – which means there’s an opportunity for everyone.

These championships are a great way of exposing new players to the fantastic game of futsal, whilst also providing more playing opportunities for existing futsal players. It is also an opportunity for all students to stay healthy, socialise and make new friendships.

In addition, the championships expose teachers to the sport, and also provides coaching and networking opportunities.

Participation is the priority, and all teams are guaranteed a minimum of 3 games at each event.

However, the winners are recognised and the top 2 teams from each region will quality for the penultimate State Championships in September to see which school will be crowned the State Champions.
