Football NSW recently hosted a successful ‘C’ Licence Regional Coaching Course at Wagga Wagga where 11 coaches participated in what was a fantastic experience for all involved.

With the course commencing on the 20th of January, coaches from Wagga Wagga, Albury Wodonga and Capital Football all took part.

“This was a great group of coaches who were engaged and willing to challenge themselves,” said Football NSW’s Development Manager, Regional Football, Andrew Fearnley.

“Ultimately, all the coaches involved shared a passion for player development and are now in a position to apply their new knowledge across various touch-points given the diversity of where the coaches all manage.”

It was pleasing to also see three rising female regional coaches that also participated in the course with Paige Hunt, Lisa Cary and Shandi Gibbons all enjoying the coaching course experience as a result of being successful recipients of a coaching scholarship thanks to the NSW Football Legacy Program.  More information can be found here

Football NSW was greatly assisted during the course with players from within Football Wagga Wagga and Wagga City Wanderers.
