Football NSW State Cup Club Entries Now Open

The 2023 Football NSW State Cups incorporating the All Age Men’s Bill Cullinan Cup and the Grade 21 Men’s Robertson Cup entry process has commenced in what is sure to be a massive year for the tournament.

In consideration of the cancellation of the 2022 State Cup and the growing pressure of field availability and referee’s resources, Football NSW has made a change to the teams that are eligible to enter the State Cup.

Associations may nominate club teams from the highest tier Association Competition only to participate in the chosen age category of the 2023 State Cup.

Where an Association has two (2) top tier Competitions playing on separate match days, teams from those Competitions will be permitted to enter.

Please review the 2023 State Cup Regulations specifically section 3 article 2 on page 11-12 for the specific regulation in its entirety.

The purpose of this change is to increase the quality of team nominations and reduce the quantity of team nominations with the overall aim of reducing the pressures placed on Associations regarding field allocation and referee resources during the State Cup period.

State Cup Entries Process

The 2023 State Cup entries will be submitted via Dribl – Please click here for the 2023 Dribl Team Nominations Procedure document.

Nominations close 7^th April 2023. No LATE entries will be accepted.

For the 2023 season we ask that each Association still completes the Club Information Spreadsheet to be emailed to kim@footballnsw.com.au on or prior to the 7^th of April 2023.

The match schedule for the State Cups will be formulated by Football NSW once all nominations have been received.

Semi Finals – Sunday 2^nd July 2023
