AFC Level 1 Futsal Licence Course returns to NSW
Football NSW is delighted to confirm the return of the AFC Level 1 Futsal Licence course to the state after a five-year absence, with two offerings confirmed for June and August this year.
“Football NSW (FNSW) Is making a commitment to improve futsal education opportunities for our futsal coaches by bringing an AFC Level 1 Futsal Coaching Course to NSW,” commented Football NSW Futsal Manager Jordan Guerreiro.
“It is our goal to have an advanced AFC course coming to our state on an annual basis, with regular opportunities to progress.
Bringing this course back after five years also allows us to provide opportunities for our coaches to become future instructors for our community-level courses.”
Course Information
The AFC Level 1 course is the introductory course into Futsal’s advanced coaching pathway within the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) after which holders can go on to take the Level 2 and Level 3 Coaching courses after fulfilling certain requirements.
It is preferred that all AFC Level 1 Course participants are to currently hold a Futsal Licence qualification with Football Australia.

Times: 8:30am to 5pm daily (candidates must attend every day of the course)

Dates: August 8 to August 13, 2023
