Australia Cup NSW Preliminary Round 6 Matches Announced
Some fascinating matches were announced following Football NSW’s Australia Cup Preliminary Round 6 draw on Friday.
With some Round 5 matches yet to be played, the Round 6 ties were settled with the winners advancing to the all-important Round 7 where the quest to earn one of the four spots allocated at this year’s Round of 32 Australia Cup will be up for grabs.
Illawarra Premier League side Cringila Lions will host National Premier League side Rockdale Ilinden while another South Coast side in Wollongong Olympic will tackle League One Men’s outfit Inter Lions.
It will be an intriguing battle in the Northern Suburbs as Sydney United 58 travel to North Turramurra to tackle League One side Northern Tigers while Sydney Olympic face League Two side South Coast Flame.
Northern Suburbs Football Association side Northbridge FC will take on the Round 5 winner of Hawkesbury City or Mounties Wanderers in a bid to continue their historic run in the Cup.
Round 6 matches have been scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 9th of May, Wednesday 10th of May and Thursday, 11th of May.
