Sapphire Cup Semi-Finals Draw Announced

It’s certainly heating up as the Semi-Finals of Football NSW’s Sapphire Cup draw was officially announced on Friday.

A tantalising match will take shape at Lambert Park as APIA Leichhardt face Sydney University SFC in what is sure to be a blockbuster of a game. The two have created a healthy rivalry throughout the years and a spot in the inaugural Sapphire Cup Final will be at stake so expect fireworks from this encounter. 

The second Semi-Final will feature the Gladesville Ravens, a team that have had a promising 2023 season after winning promotion into the National Premier Leagues NSW Women’s competition, taking on the winner of the Central Coast Mariners or Northern Tigers.

The inaugural Sapphire Cup is building up to what will be a climatic Final with a venue and date to be announced by Football NSW in due course.
