Football NSW has announced Optimise Sports Physiotherapy & Performance as its Official Physiotherapy and Strength & Conditioning Services Supplier.

Owned and founded by Football NSW Institute and Talent Support Program Head Physiotherapist, Chris El-Hayek, Optimise operates out of the Charles Valentine Building at Valentine Sports Park.

El-Hayek aims to combine his passions for strength and conditioning and physiotherapy, with his love of football and was delighted with the new partnership.

“I am excited and honoured to partner with Football NSW in optimising health care for grassroots and elite footballers”, he said.

As part of the partnership, all registered Football NSW participants will receive a 10% discount on initial consultations until the end of September.

Football NSW CEO John Tsatsimas welcomed the new partnership.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Optimise Sports Physiotherapy and Performance,” he said.

“Chris is a talented practitioner who has a thorough understanding of football and we’re looking forward to working with him over the coming years.”

El-Hayek currently holds an FA/AFC ‘B’ Licence and is currently going through the process of completing an ‘A’ Licence. The 28-year-old also works as the Head Physiotherapist and Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Football NSW State Teams competing at the National Youth Championships, and for the National Training Centre Challenge Women’s U18s.
