Football NSW extends Goal Post Partnership with PILA
Football NSW has announced the renewal of PILA as its long-standing Official Goal Post Partner, with the relationship extending to a sixteenth year.
PILA is Australia’s largest manufacturer of commercial sports field hardware and streetscape products, including goal posts and flag poles, with their high-quality Australian Made football goal posts built at their Sydney and Melbourne factories.
As a trusted brand with a 40-year manufacturing history, their goal posts stand everywhere from Stadium Australia and Valentine Sports Park, to local council, club and school sporting fields.
PILA has expanded its commercial partnership commitment to grassroots football by launching the PILA Goal Post Subsidy Program in association with Football NSW.
The program will see 15 clubs per year receive a subsidy towards the purchase of brand-new football goal posts.
PILA’s Managing Director, Reece Wooldridge, says the introduction of the Goal Post Subsidy Program in NSW will bring huge benefits to football in the state.
“With so many cheaply made, poor-quality imported goal posts now sold in Australia, and many that are not compliant to Australian Standards or are in a state of bad repair, they present a dangerous level of risk-exposure to venue owners and operators,” he said.
“Our annual Goal Post Subsidy Program offers Football NSW affiliates an affordable opportunity to upgrade to safe, compliant and Australian Standard goal posts.
“Our NSW team are based in our large Sydney manufacturing facility and can provide comprehensive information to purchasers about correct goal post selection for their field sizes and player demographics, along with technical advice on field layouts, installation, and off-field storage.
“We thank Football NSW for their long-term support of PILA and we looking forward to continuing to work with their team, clubs, schools and venues throughout the state.”
Football NSW CEO John Tsatsimas was delighted to see the partnership continuing.

Applications for the 2023 PILA Subsidy Program are open now and will close on the 31st of August 2023.
