Football NSW has announced details for this weekend’s 2023 League One Women’s and Girls Youth League Two Grand Finals set to take place at Valentine Sports Park.

Split across two days, Saturday 16th of September will see Valentine Sports Park 1 in full use with the U14’s, U15’s, U16’s and U20’s matches taking centre stage before the League One Women’s Grand Final between Hills United v St George FC gets set for Sunday 17th of September at 6:30pm.

In what promises to be a massive weekend for the second tier of our women’s competition across five age groups, each match will no doubt bring excitement, drama, and intrigue as we look set to unearth new Champions in 2023.

League One and Girls Youth League Two Grand Final Fixtures

Saturday 16th September at Valentine Sports Park 1

  • U14’s Nepean FC v St George FC – 8:15am
  • U15’s Hills United v SD Raiders – 10am
  • U16’s UNSW FC v St George FC – 11:45am
  • Under 20’s UNSW FC v Hills United – 2pm

Sunday 17th September at Valentine Sports Park 2

  • St George FC v Hills United – 6:30pm

Football NSW have worked to balance the scheduling where clubs that have multiple teams in the Grand Final are scheduled to play back-to-back or staggered kick-off times to enable player and club support.

The U20’s has been split from 1st Grade to avoid a 3:30pm kick off time on Sunday on Valentine Sports Park 2 (synthetic), by playing on Saturday. It allows us to play on Field 1 (grass) and to move the Under 20’s back to a late afternoon kick-off time if the weather forecast (heat) plays a role.

Football NSW also need 1st Grade to kick-off no later than 6:30pm on Sunday to ensure all possible outcomes are completed by 10pm (lights out).

Ground entry is free of charge.

NPL.TV will broadcast live the League One Women’s Grand Final respectively.
