Job Opportunity: Football NSW Technical Manager Position for 2024 Girls Institute Program

Football NSW is inviting suitably qualified coaches to apply for a Technical Manager position in its Girls Institute Program for the 2024 season.

The Football NSW Girls Institute program is a full-time program for talented girls in NSW, who will compete in the NPL NSW Womens and Football NSW Girls Youth League One competitions.

The prime focus of the FNSW Institute Program is to support the ongoing development of talented FNSW female athletes to progress to the next level within the FA national player pathway.

The FNSW Institute Club Technical Manager leads and manages the development of youth players and youth coaches within the FNSW Competition Club structure. The Technical Manager will create a sustainable football program that provides clear guidance for coaches, in order to help facilitate a quality football experience to support developing players. The Technical Manager should therefore have experience in youth coaching, youth development and coach mentoring.

Dates
The 2024 Football NSW Institute program will commence in November 2023 for a 40 week period.

The Technical Manager role will be required to attend up to four sessions, plus 3 games each week.

  • Applications for Football NSW Girls Institute Technical Manager must be submitted before Close of Business Tuesday 12th September 2023.

Other important information

  • AFC/FA A licence
  • Completed ‘FNSW Technical Director course (or registered into next available course)
  • Experience in the establishment and ongoing management of youth player development programs and mentoring of youth coaches
  • Effective communication skills with coaches, youth players and parents / guardians
  • Ability to provide leadership and direction
  • Passionate and dedicated to promoting the club to the wider community

Working with Children Check (WWC) Number
Successful applicants will be working with children under the age of 18. You MUST have a current paid WWC clearance. If you do not already have a paid WWC or need to upgrade your WWC from volunteer status, you can apply online via the Office of the Children’s Guardian website.
