Sapphire Cup Round 4 Draw Announced
Football NSW’s women’s knockout Cup tournament the Sapphire Cup is slowly getting to the busy end as the Round 4 draw was confirmed.
Eight matches will take place with one round 4 match between Sporting Rovers v Coogee United to be played next Wednesday at Hammondville Oval to complete the draw with the winner of that clash taking on South Coast Flame FC.
With most clubs hailing from both the National Premier Leagues NSW Women’s and League One Women’s competition still in the mix, there are five Association clubs in total vying for a Round 5 spot. Along with the winner of either the Sporting Rovers or Coogee United, Banksia Tigers, Seaforth FC and Shellharbour JFC will all be pushing for headlines by beating their highly fancied opponents.
Overall, the excitement, drama and quality has been there to be seen by all thus far as the Sapphire Cup continues to shine on the state stage.
