APIA Leichhardt FC, Blacktown City FC, NWS Spirit FC and Rockdale Ilinden have all booked their tickets to this year’s prestigious Australia Cup Round of 32 representing Football NSW following their round 7 Preliminary Round victories.

Blacktown City FC disposed of League One Men’s side Inter Lions FC 5-1 at Majors Bay Reserve.

A double from Danny Choi followed by goals from Grant Lynch, Jak O’Brien and Joey Gibbs cancelled out Inter’s late consolation from Daniel Georgievski.

In the Italian Classico, APIA Leichhardt FC eliminated rivals Marconi Stallions in a thrill 2-1 victory at a packed Lambert Park. Themba Muata Marlow and Sean Symons scored for the hosts who needed extra-time to secure its ticket.

NWS Spirit FC knocked out 202 Australia Cup finalists Sydney United 58 2-1 at Christie Park.

Patrick Antelmi got the visitors off to a great start before former United 58 defender Ante Bakmaz equalised with Jared Lum giving his side the massive win.

Finally, Rockdale Ilinden ended Eastern Suburbs FA side Phoenix FC’s fairytale run trouncing them 9-1 at the Ilinden Sports Centre.

The hosts were shocked early on as Andy Dagg scored in the opening minute of the game but then the current NPL Men’s NSW League leaders settled themselves scoring nine unanswered goals.

Isaac Danzo kicked off the proceedings with Alec Urosevski grabbing a hat-trick while Lachie Constable, So Kataoka, Bai Antoniou, Brendan Cholakian and Hunter Elliott all got in on the scoresheet.

Football Australia will announce the date of the official Round of 32 draw which is set to be in late June.
