Coaching Conference Profile: Skye Eddy
Football NSW is delighted to have Skye Eddy as one of the keynote international speakers for the 2024 Football NSW Coaching Conference.
Skye Eddy is the founder of Soccer Parenting, with a mission of inspiring players by empowering parents.
A former professional player, Skye was a collegiate and youth All-American goalkeeper, Defensive MVP of the Final Four (1993) and State Champion track athlete.
Skye has coached extensively in the youth and collegiate games within the United States. An MBA graduate of the University of Richmond, Skye has earned her USSF “B” License, the USSF National Goalkeeper License, the USSF Grassroots Instructors License.
Skye is working daily to “make youth soccer better” through facilitating the development of collaborative relationships between youth club leaders, coaches, and parents.
She is the creator of the SoccerParentResourceCenter.com, a one-of-a-kind parent education platform rich with content developed to improve the youth soccer landscape by empowering parents with the information and knowledge they need to inspire their players.
Skye also created of TheSidelineProject.com – an all-sport intervention that is working to provide a positive game day experience – free of hostile and distracting sideline behaviour – for players, referees, coaches and spectators.
Early Bird tickets are now on sale for the 2024 Coaching Conference, to be held at Valentine Sports Park on the 23rd and 24th of November.
After a fantastic return of the conference in 2023, this year’s event aims to build on that success with an impressive collection of local and international presenters.
Coaches can purchase a 1-day (5 CPD Hours) attendee pass or a 2-day weekend pass (10 CPD Hours).
