Round 19 in the Football NSW League One Women’s competition is another important weekend for teams chasing the top four. There are seven games to run the rule over, including the Match of the Round between Sutherland Strikers FC and Nepean FC.

Let’s get onto the preview.

Match of the Round: Sutherland Strikers FC vs Nepean FC, Sunday July 7, 3:30pm, Harrie Denning Centre

Sutherland Strikers FC host Nepean FC in their game down at Harrie Denning Centre on Sunday afternoon.

The hosts won back-to-back games after their 1-0 win against Inter Lions FC at Majors Bay Reserve.

KJ Schmidt found the back of the net in the win and she is Sutherland Strikers FC’s top scorer this season.

The Strikers were beaten 3-0 by Nepean FC back in Round 6 so they will want to square the season ledger.

Nepean FC were beaten 9-0 by Mt Druitt Town Rangers FC in their game at Popondetta Park last weekend.

Despite the loss, it was a proud moment for Kiahna Koutsonikolis who made her debut off the bench.

Nepean FC will look towards Georgia Robinson and Kelsea Nash to help the team towards three points.

This game will be streamed live on Football NSW YouTube under the Live tab and the enigmatic Eric Subijano will be behind the mic for the clash.

Marconi Stallions FC vs St George FC, Sunday July 7, 3pm, Marconi Stadium

Marconi Stallions FC welcome St George FC to Marconi Stadium for their game on Sunday afternoon.

The Stallions broke their run of losses in their 0-0 draw against South East Phoenix FC in Nowra last weekend.

Rebecca Norman has been a strong performer for Marconi Stallions FC since her first appearance in Round 10.

Julia Figueira is the top scorer for the Stallions with five goals and the attacker will be key to their success this weekend.

St George FC had a statement 4-1 win against SD Raiders FC in the Match of the Round last weekend.

The combination between Jordan Baker and Kyla Vanderlaan was in fine form last weekend and look to continue their form on Sunday.

The Saints moved back into the top four with that result and hope to hold off the chasing pack to make the finals.

Mt Druitt Town Rangers FC vs Inter Lions FC, Sunday July 7, 3pm, Popondetta Park

Mt Druitt Town Rangers FC host Inter Lions FC in their game down at Popondetta Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Town Rangers registered a commanding 9-0 win against Nepean FC at Popondetta Park last weekend.

The result put Mt Druitt Town Rangers FC on top of the League One Women’s ladder with two months left to go.

Caitlin Campbell scored twice in the result and the mid-season signing has been a vital part of the Town Rangers side.

Inter Lions FC were beaten 1-0 by Sutherland Strikers FC in their game at Majors Bay Reserve last Sunday.

The Lions will look to play spoiler for the rest of the season and get themselves off the bottom of the ladder.

Central Coast Mariners FC vs Camden Tigers FC, Sunday July 7, 3pm, Pluim Park

Central Coast Mariners FC take on Camden Tigers FC in their game at Pluim Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Mariners had a solid 1-1 draw against the high flying Hills United FC side at Pluim Park last weekend.

Ava-Marie Carlson has been a livewire down the wing for the Mariners and will be raring to go again on Sunday.

They remain three points outside the top four and have three games in hand which might vault them into contention.

Camden Tigers FC will be back on the field again after their game against Bankstown City Lions FC was washed out.

The Tigers picked up a point in a 0-0 draw last time these sides met and hope for a similar result on the coast.

Lisa Fressard has led the line for Camden Tigers and scored eight goals. The striker will look to add to her tally on Sunday.

South East Phoenix FC vs South Coast Flame FC, Sunday July 7, 3:15pm, South Nowra Football Complex

South East Phoenix FC face off against South Coast Flame FC at South Nowra Football Complex on Sunday afternoon.

The Phoenix earned a solid point in their 0-0 draw against Marconi Stallions FC at South Nowra Football Complex.

They hope to pick up their second win of the season on their home turf and move up the League One Women’s ladder.

Jillian Scott kept a clean sheet in the stalemate and she will be keen to repeat the dose on Sunday afternoon.

South Coast Flame ignited their campaign with a 1-0 win against Blacktown City FC at Landen Stadium last weekend.

The Flame look to build up some results and continue their charge from seventh position on the ladder.

Paula Mitchell has six goals thus far in the League One Women’s season and she will be keen to find the back of the net.

Hills United FC vs Bankstown City Lions FC, Sunday July 7, 3:45pm, Bella Vista Public School

Hills United FC take on Bankstown City Lions FC in their game at Bella Vista Public School on Sunday afternoon.

The hosts had a dramatic 1-1 draw with a tough Central Coast Mariners FC side at Pluim Park last Sunday.

They have lost grip of a top two spot on the League One Women’s ladder and aim to get back in the winner’s circle.

Bianca Galayini was a super sub again for Hills United FC with her goal and might be a weapon off the bench on Sunday.

Bankstown City Lions FC are refreshed after their game against Camden Tigers was washed out last weekend.

The Lions were beaten 1-0 in the previous meeting between these sides and look to exact some revenge in this game.

Chelsea Greguric has been a valuable member of the Lions attack and she hopes to find the back of the net on Sunday.

Blacktown City FC vs SD Raiders FC, Sunday July 7, 4pm, Landen Stadium

Rounding off the weekend is Blacktown City FC facing SD Raiders FC at Landen Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Blacktown City FC look to bounce back after their last minute 1-0 loss to South Coast Flame FC last weekend.

Custodian Amy Harkin will be key for the hosts in this game in trying to repel the potent SD Raiders FC attack.

Up front, they will look towards Claire Szymoniczek and Keira Hastings to push the team forward towards a positive result.

SD Raiders FC were beaten 4-1 by St George FC in the Match of the Round at Hammondville Oval last weekend.

Taiana Almeida found the back of the net in the loss and she will be keen to add to her tally of 15 goals for the season.

The visitors hope to get back in the winner’s circle and get themselves back on top of the League One Women’s ladder.
