Inaugural Futsal Coaching Course a success with more set for August
Football NSW in conjunction with Football Australia recently hosted a successful Futsal Coaching Course that took place on Saturday 20th of July at Valentine Sports Park.
A first of its kind, the course catered to entry level coaches working with junior and youth players.
“As many as 25 members which included coach education tutors as well as grassroots coaches were involved with the aim of taking back what they learnt to their clubs ahead of the Futsal season”, said Football NSW’s Futsal Manager Jordan Guerreiro.
“The focus on conducting these courses is to improve and promote Futsal in the community space as well as our Futsal Leagues across NSW.
“These courses were developed to encourage coaches in providing key learnings to our juniors and youth age groups to progress into future state and national team players, he ended.
Football NSW will be delivering 2 more Foundation of Futsal courses in August, with more Futsal courses to be announced.
