Boasting a line-up filled with former National Premier Leagues stars, it’s no surprise that Football Canterbury’s APIA Leichhardt Tigers Juniors Over 35’s will be fighting for the Champion of Champions title following their State Cup success this Saturday.

Coached by Daniel Toscano, the club is littered with familiar names with the likes of current APIA Leichhardt FC NPL Men’s Head Coach and former A-League player Franco Parisi alongside Michael West, Adam D’Apuzzo, Stephen Kayes, Peter Crevani, Anthony Doumanis, Reuben Lagos, Cristian Bottalico, James Kovas, Con Pavlidis, Nick Paradisis and captain Giancarlo Papaianni to name a few.

The talented side romped to a Champion of Champions finals spot at Valentine Sports Park with a convincing 6-1 victory over Eastern Suburbs FA outfit Dunbar Rovers, booking their ticket against a formidable opponent in Nepean FA’s Penrith Rovers on Saturday.

All eyes will be on them on Saturday at 9:30am as they hope to finish the year off filling up their trophy cabinet following their epic 7-6 penalty shootout victory over Mosman FC at this year’s State Cup Final at Cromer Park.
