Football NSW Announces Two New Board Director Appointments

Football NSW has announced the appointments of Strebre Delovski and Dr. Neil Gibson as Directors on the Football NSW Board of Directors.
Regarded as one of the most decorated referees in Australian football, Strebre Delovski comes to Football NSW with invaluable experience having officiated at international, national and state levels. An experienced and passionate leader who has successfully delivered programs and initiatives across business and football, Strebre has held positions at Football Australia including National Director of Referees and was the Wollongong Wolves Football Club Chief Executive Officer up until April this year. Strebre is currently the Deputy Executive Director of the Master Builders Association of NSW.
Dr. Neil Gibson joins the Board of Directors with vast experiences as a leader, academic and director across the professional sport, higher education and government sectors. With a proven track record of developing strong business strategies and leading teams towards a common goal, Neil is currently the Project Director for the redevelopment of an Olympic Legacy site for Blacktown City Council. He has previously worked with Scottish Premiership side Heart of Midlothian FC as their Head of Performance, in addition to consultancy roles with the Scottish Football Association, English FA and other sporting organisations.
Football NSW Chair, Gilbert Lorquet, was delighted to welcome the appointment of the two new highly esteemed Directors.

Strebre and Neil will fill casual vacancies on the Football NSW Board of Directors until the conclusion of the Football NSW Annual General Meeting in respect of the 2025/2026 financial year which is to be held on or by 31 March 2027.
