Round 8 of the Futsal Premier League 2 Open Mens competition reaches the halfway mark with three sides tied at the top of the ladder.

Raiders Futsal Club host Sydney Futsal Club at Thomas Hassell Anglican College on Saturday afternoon.
The leaders had a comfortable 8-4 win against SD Raiders Futsal at Thomas Hassell Anglican College last weekend.
Sebastian Malfara and Tomas Medimurac contributed five goals each for Raiders Futsal Club showing their poacher nature in front of goal.
Sydney Futsal Club had a scintillating 4-4 draw against APIA FC Futsal and added another point to their tally.
The visitors were beaten 6-2 back in Round 1 so they will be keen to avenge that result and keep their finals hopes alive.
Adin Scalone has been an asset for Sydney Futsal Club up front and he will hope to add to his tally on the weekend.

APIA FC Futsal face off against SD Raiders Futsal at Valentine Sports Park on Saturday afternoon.
It was a busy weekend for the hosts who drew 4-4 on Saturday then thumped SD Raiders Futsal 14-5 on Sunday afternoon in a catch-up game.
The hosts scored goals for fun in the first half of the season and feature the leader for the Golden Boot in Marcus Sparacino.
We have the interesting scenario of these two playing in back-to-back weekends and could conjure up some intriguing results.
SD Raiders Futsal had a weekend to forget with a pair of losses which keeps them at the bottom of the Futsal Premier League 2 Open Mens ladder.
They have a lot of young talent in their team including Phoenix Molloy and Sebastian Tamayo who can help their efforts in the next few seasons.

Rounding off the weekend is Phoenix Futsal Club and West City Crusaders clashing at The Centre – Dural on Saturday night.
Phoenix Futsal Club were beaten 9-0 by Macarthur Quake Futsal Club at Minto Indoor Sports Centre last weekend.
The hosts have soared to the top this season after a tough few campaigns so they will be hoping to keep up that effort for the second half.
If you look up the definition of goals this season, Jordan Smylie will be there with his seven goals thus far for Phoenix Futsal Club and ready for fire.
West City Crusaders were on the bye last weekend and will enter this game ready to plunder some goals.
It has been a fantastic season for the Crusaders who sit equal top on the Futsal Premier League 2 Open Mens ladder alongside Raiders Futsal Club and this week’s opponent.
The Crusaders have retained a majority of the squad which made the finals in 2023 with Benjamin Lam and Ryan Faulkner leading the way for the side.
