VALE: John Comito

Football NSW was saddened to hear the news of the passing of much admired administrator John Comito.

John was a dedicated servant to the game, contributing to the local football community for many years.

In the early 90s, John successfully ran the Granville Youth League and in the late 90s he oversaw the Parramatta Eagles Youth League Program. He also served as the Club Secretary at Parramatta Eagles from 2000 to 2003.

In addition to his work with Parramatta Eagles, John had a long-standing involvement with various other clubs including Kellyville Kolts, Granville Rage, and most recently as the Football Manager at Northern Tigers.

He also served as a Match Commissioner for Football NSW for many years, a role he truly enjoyed.

He loved the game and the people he met along the way.

All of Football NSW sends its condolences to the Comito family and those closest to John, may he rest in heavenly peace.
