South East Phoenix Withdraws from Senior Competitions

Football NSW would like to advise the withdrawal of the South East Phoenix Under 23’s and 1st Grade teams from the 2025 Football NSW League One Women’s Competitions.
The following is the procedure/outcome that will be followed due to the withdrawal of the U23 and 1st Grade teams from the Football NSW League One Women’s Competitions:
- The Club will be permitted to withdraw its teams from the 2025 League One Women’s Competitions, whilst all of its other grades will be eligible to continue to participate;
- A bye will replace the Clubs U23 team in the League One Women’s competition and a bye will replace the Clubs 1st Grade team in the League One Women’s Competition;
- For Women’s Competitions, the Club will be penalised 20 Club Championship points for the 2025 season
- The Clubs’ other age grade teams in the competitions remain eligible for the Championship Series;
- The Club will be deemed ineligible for promotion (Senior and Youth) into the level of competition above.
- The Club will be issued with a warning (“Yellow Card”). For ease of reference regarding the policy, please see refer to the Football NSW Yellow/Red Card Failure to Fill Age Grades Policy.
- For the following two seasons, the Club will be required by 16 December of the preceding season, to have entered into the National Registration System (Play Football) sufficient registered players for all age grades (i.e. at least 11 players per age grade) to indicate they are able to field teams for the following season;
- Should the Club fail to do so, the Club will be issued with a show cause notice asking the Club to justify why it should not be immediately removed from the relevant competition;
If Football NSW is not satisfied, in its absolute discretion, with the explanation provided by the Club, the Club will be immediately removed from the relevant competition
