2025 Winter Futsal League kicks off in style

The 2025 Winter Futsal League kicked off in tremendous fashion over the weekend as the competition has grown from strength to strength in both the Men’s and Women’s divisions.
This year’s competition features eleven Men’s and seven Women’s teams including Canterbury Bankstown Futsal (Men and Women), Dural Warriors Futsal (Men and Women), Enfield Allstars (Men and Women), FC Kairat, Mosaic Sports Club (Men and Women), Mountain Majik Futsal (Men and Women), North Sydney Futsal, NM Futsal, Phoenix Futsal (Men and Women), Riddwood Futsal and UTS Northside Futsal (Men and Women) each of which will battle it out for spot in the finals.
“It’s fantastic to see the interest and the talent on display improve each and every year now, especially seeing the community clubs looking stronger than ever,” said Football NSW Futsal Manager Jordan Guerreiro.
“This competition has been delivered for five years and is seemly becoming popular over time.
“Having the re-introduction of our women’s division is also a step in the right direction as this further provides more opportunities for females to play the sport of Futsal all year round.
“Following the introduction of the National Futsal Women’s team who are set to compete in their first ever AFC Asian Cup as well as do their best in qualifying for the Futsal Women’s World Cup in November 2025, this competition will no doubt feature a number of these players who will proudly represent the nation.”
