Female Football Week Coaches Event Confirmed
Football NSW will be hosting a coaches event at Valentine Sports Park as part of 2025 Female Football Week.
Current and aspiring coaches are invited to observe a Future Sapphires Program training session, followed by a Q&A with Coach Anissa Tann. The session topic will be “Swarm and Protect”, with a focus on immediate pressure on the ball carrier to win the ball back as soon as possible.
Anissa is an ex-player who played for the Matildas from 1985-2003. She has been a player for almost 30 years and started her coaching journey 20 years ago. She has held various coaching roles at all levels including, National Premier League, State Teams, National teams, FNSW Institute program and most recently in the Future Sapphires program. Anissa demonstrates key attributes and commitment to developing youth players for the future and the future of our National teams.
Participants can also receive 2 CPD hours towards revalidation for advanced accreditations. Please use the CPD Hours registration link below if you wish to receive them.
