Round 15 in the Football NSW League One Women’s competition is another weekend of action which promises to help shake out of the top four.

There are six games to run the rule over across two days headlined by the Match of the Round between St George FC and Marconi Stallions FC.

Let’s get onto the preview.

Match of the Round: St George FC vs Marconi Stallions FC, Sunday 8 June, 4:30pm, Barton Park

St George FC hosts Marconi Stallions FC in their game down at Barton Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Saints were held to a 1-1 draw against a dogged Bankstown City Lions FC side at Jensen Park last Sunday.

Winger Danielle Rutstein is an energiser bunny down the flanks for St George FC so she will be ready to run again.

Sienna Borrill has held her place well since being elevated to First Grade in Round 8 and has another big job on Sunday.

The Stallions grinded out a 1-0 win against Camden Tigers FC in their travels to Ron Dine Reserve last weekend.

Daniela Brekic nodded home from the corner in the success and she has been solid since her return to the side.

They will be without Laura Malagon Avila after her red card while holding onto the win against the Tigers.

These two sides played out an entertaining 3-3 draw back in Round 2 and this is primed for another incredible clash.

This game will be streamed LIVE on the Football NSW YouTube channel with the ‘Filipino Flyer’ Eric Subijano behind the microphone.

South Coast Flame FC vs Blacktown City FC, Saturday 7 June, 3pm, Sir Ian McLennan Park

South Coast Flame FC open the round against Blacktown City FC at Sir Ian McLennan Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Flame suffered a 6-0 loss to league leaders Hills United FC in their travels to Valentine Sports Park.

Ashleigh Long has enjoyed her time thus far at the Flame and she will lead the charge to get them back in the winner’s circle.

They remain three points outside the top four and having success at home might be key to pushing up the ladder.

Blacktown City FC had a 1-1 draw against Inter Lions FC in their game played at Landen Stadium last weekend.

Nyssa Castillo was the goal scorer in the stalemate and the striker is ready to find the back of the net again.

The visitors were beaten 5-0 in their last clash against South Coast Flame FC and their recent form might see them cause an upset.

Blacktown Spartans FC vs Bankstown City Lions FC, Sunday 8 June, 5pm, Blacktown Football Park

Blacktown Spartans FC welcome Bankstown City Lions FC to Blacktown Football Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Spartans got three big points in their 2-1 win against Nepean FC traveling to St Marys last weekend

Chloe Hain scored the opener for the Spartans and the attacker will be hungry to double her delight.

Defender Lili Rosandic provided the assist for the winner and she has been a strong pick-up for the side.

For Bankstown City Lions FC, they clawed back a point late in their 1-1 draw against St George FC last Sunday.

Krystallia Kallidakis has put in a shift up top since the absence of Chelsea Greguric with three goals in the last month.

Alongside her, Yasmene Placer has started back-to-back games and will be ready for another big performance.

Central Coast Mariners FC vs Camden Tigers FC, Sunday 8 June, 5pm, Pluim Park

Central Coast Mariners FC take on Camden Tigers FC back at their home Pluim Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Mariners were beaten 1-0 against high-flyers SD Raiders FC in the Match of the Round last weekend.

Jordan Drysdale and Teagan Jones were stoic in the backline despite the defeat and will aim for a repeat performance.

The Mariners have a glut of home games which they hope might help them launch up the League One Women’s ladder.

Camden Tigers FC conceded early in their 1-0 loss against top four hopefuls Marconi Stallions FC at home.

Despite the loss, the Tigers once again showed they are a tough side to break down in the 2025 season although they are without Eve Wilson this week due to a red card.

If their defence holds, Camden will look towards Chantelle Bernard up front to bang in some goals.

Inter Lions FC vs Hills United FC, Sunday 8 June, 5pm, Majors Bay Reserve

Inter Lions FC take on league leaders Hills United FC down at Majors Bay Reserve on Sunday afternoon.

The Lions had a 1-1 draw against Blacktown City FC in their game played at Landen Stadium last weekend.

Attacker Gabriella Ferreira has started consistently in the last month and been a consistent performer for coach John Di Biase.

Someone else that has stood out for Inter Lions FC has been Belinda Anderson Sharp at the back helping to keep out goals.

Hills United FC were 6-0 winners against South Coast Flame FC at Valentine Sports Park last Sunday night.

Isabella Sciberras showed her full range of skills with a goal and assist in their commanding result.

Captain Aisling Davidson popped up with a goal and has led the side well over the first half of the season.

Nepean FC vs Sutherland Strikers FC, Sunday 8 June, 5pm, Cook Park

Nepean FC face off against Sutherland Strikers FC in their contest at Cook Park on Sunday afternoon.

The hosts were beaten 2-1 by Blacktown Spartans FC in their travels to Blacktown Football Park last week.

Tamara Grieves scored the leveller for Nepean FC and she aims to add to her tally on Sunday afternoon.

If Nepean FC are to get a result from this game, custodian Jasmine Crouch might need to add to her highlight reel of saves.

Sutherland Strikers FC head into this game refreshed after having the bye for Round 14 of the League One Women’s competition.

They brought in some more enforcements for the second half of the season in the shape of Sydney FC star Kirsty Fenton to lead the young side.

She will allow Matilda McParland and Alliyah Yamaguchi to develop further and pick up some more wins.
