Kellyville Kolts proud of State Cup Finals achievement

Hills Football will feature one club representative at this year’s Football NSW State Cup Finals set for Sunday, 13th of July with the Kellyville Kolts Under 15 Boys booked in an epic clash against North West Sydney Football’s Ryde Panthers in a winner takes all match.
Proud Kellyville Kolts President Bob Harrold was delighted with how the club’s young chargers have gone thus far as he hopes they can go one step further in lifting the trophy at Valentine Sports Park. He especially praised coach Mike Gardiner who has done a fantastic job steering the ship with the talented Under 15’s side.
“We are extremely proud of the team for coming this far.
“They’ve worked extremely hard as a team and are such a nice bunch of boys.
“Mike Gardiner is one of the best coaches at the club. He is one of our many ‘C’ Licence coaches and is truly dedicated to the team. He puts so much time and effort into this team and I am really proud of having him as a coach at the club.”
Asked what it would mean to the club if the Kolts lifted the trophy Harrold stated to Football NSW.
“This is the team’s third shot at the title and in previous years they have been plagued by injuries at this stage of the Tournament.
“I hope that this is their year as they really deserve it.”
With 165 teams registered along with its 2400 players wearing the Kolts colours, the passionate Club President also paid homage to the other sides that took part in the State Cup Finals.
“We are so happy with all of the teams that competed this year with many of them making it through to the quarter-finals and have done super well.
“I want to thank all of the players and coaches from all of the teams that represent the Red and Black so brilliantly.”
