Football NSW hosts 2025 Junior Futsal Cup
Football NSW successfully hosted the 2025 Junior Futsal Cup at Hawkesbury PCYC on Tuesday, 15th of July in what was a terrific day for the code.
The action packed day held at one of Football NSW’s affiliated venues featured the under 9’s age category involving 5 clubs that took part in the Cup.
SD Raiders FC took out the eventual finals as they had both their teams compete for the Championship trophy.
“A huge thank you to all the clubs who took part on the day as they provided a firsthand opportunity to their players to participate in Futsal,” said Football NSW Futsal Manager Jordan Guerreiro.
“There was some great talent on display, and we look forward to continuing to deliver these futsal tournament formats in 2026.
“The tournament gives us an opportunity to link both our games and working together for the development of our players.
“JDL is a non-competitive games program.
“Football NSW provide a tournament format for JDL Clubs to assist in the development of the individual and to give the players a different learning experience to their usual matchday format.”
