Round 24 Preview – League One Women’s
Round 24 in the Football NSW League One Women’s competition might be the biggest weekend of the season with the chance to crown our Premier.
There are six games set up for action with teams fighting for table positions.
The Match of the Round sees leaders Hills United FC host the in form Central Coast Mariners FC.

This is a match-up between two of the form sides in the League One Women’s competition and has plenty on the line including top four and title ambitions.

The Flame battled back for a 2-2 draw against St George FC in the Match of the Round last weekend.
Winger Abbey Crapp was a nuisance all evening and her pace might be important for the Flame in this game.
Since her first start in Round 15, Chrystal Duggan has fit into the Flame attack perfectly and offers them another option up top.
Sutherland Strikers FC had the weekend off after their clash against Inter Lions FC was moved to mid-week.
Kirsty Fenton will control the pace for the Strikers from the backline and help push them forward for goals.

The Lions clawed ahead before falling 3-1 to Hills United FC in their game at Jensen Park last weekend.
Midfielder Yasmene Placer scored from a set piece against the leaders and it will be a big avenue for the hosts in this game.
Kahtia Bedano has appeared in a majority of the games for Bankstown City Lions FC this season and adapted to her role in the backline well.
Camden Tigers FC fell victim to the wild weather in Sydney last weekend and their game against Nepean FC was washed out.

The hosts will be refreshed after having the bye in Round 23 of the League One Women’s competition.
Coach Michael Hawthorne was disappointed in their effort last time out and hopes for a response against SD Raiders FC.
Hoping to lead that response is captain Paris Kambouris as Blacktown City FC look to play spoiler in the final month.
SD Raiders FC had a 0-0 draw against Marconi Stallions FC in their south-west derby at Ernie Smith Reserve.

The Spartans fought hard in their 5-1 loss to Central Coast Mariners FC on their home turf last weekend.
Former Ranger Paris Vinuya has been a bright spark for the Spartans this season and she will be keen to find the back of the net.
