Match of the Round: Mounties Wanderers FC vs Dunbar Rovers FC
8pm – Cook Park (Mt Pritchard)
These two teams did not meet last season.
Two sides coming off contrasting results will hope to make a statement when Mounties Wanderers FC and Dunbar Rovers FC face off.
The last time these two teams met was in the 2023 League One Men’s season, when Dunbar recorded a perfect league double.
Mounties recorded their first loss of the season in a 6-0 away defeat to Parramatta FC last week and will hope to bounce back not only from the defeat itself, but also the nature of it.
It was their heaviest defeat since a 6-0 loss at home to Central Coast Mariners FC Academy in the 2022 League One Men’s season, but Mounties will be eager to respond with a strong performance.
Expect plenty of fight from Mounties as they look to rediscover their form and claim a fifth win from their opening six matches.
Dunbar, meanwhile, ended a run of back-to-back losses with a 3-1 away win over Camden Tigers FC last week and will look to secure consecutive victories.
They will hope to utilise their wingbacks effectively and defend compactly to contain the Mounties attack, which has averaged three goals per game so far this season.
With Mounties coming off their worst loss in four years and Dunbar chasing momentum, both sides will be determined to secure a positive result.
Hawkesbury City FC vs Inner West Hawks FC
8pm – David Bertenshaw Field
Last season: Inner West Hawks FC 0-3 Hawkesbury City FC, Hawkesbury City FC 4-0 Inner West Hawks FC
The Battle of the Hawks reignites as Hawkesbury City FC host Inner West Hawks FC.
Last season, Hawkesbury completed the league double over Inner West, reversing the outcome from the 2024 season when Inner West achieved the same feat.
Hawkesbury will look to bounce back from their first loss of the season, a 2-0 away defeat to Fraser Park last week.
Expect them to control possession at home and apply decisive pressure as they aim for a third straight head-to-head win.
Inner West, meanwhile, come into the fixture with confidence after a 3-1 home victory over Sydney University SFC, giving them back-to-back wins.
They will aim to extend their unbeaten run to four matches and avoid a third consecutive loss to Hawkesbury.
Fraser Park FC vs Sydney University SFC
8pm – Fraser Park
Last season: Sydney University SFC 4-5 Fraser Park FC, Fraser Park FC 2-1 Sydney University SFC
Fraser Park FC will hope to continue their strong start to the season against a Sydney University side searching for their first point of the campaign.
Fraser Park responded well to their first loss of the year with a solid 2-0 home win over Hawkesbury City FC.
Confidence will be high following their first clean sheet in two seasons, and they will aim to secure back-to-back victories once again.
Sydney University, meanwhile, suffered their fifth straight defeat to begin the season after a 3-1 loss to Inner West Hawks FC.
The students will take encouragement from their improved showing last week as they look to upset Fraser Park for the first time in three attempts.
Nepean FC vs Parramatta FC
8pm – Jamison Park
Last season: Nepean FC 1-3 Parramatta FC, Parramatta FC 1-2 Nepean FC
The Western Sydney derby returns as Nepean FC host Parramatta FC in Penrith.
Nepean remain the competition’s only unbeaten and perfect side after a convincing 4-1 victory over Gladesville Ryde Magic.
They will look to continue their strong record against Parramatta, having won five of the last six meetings.
Parramatta, however, come into the clash in strong form following a third straight victory after their 4-1 away win over Central Coast United FC.

South Coast Flame FC vs Camden Tigers FC
3:15pm – Sir Ian McLennan Oval
Last season: South Coast Flame FC 6-1 Camden Tigers FC, Camden Tigers FC 1-2 South Coast Flame FC
South Coast Flame FC return from their bye looking to build momentum against a Camden Tigers FC side still searching for their first win of the season.
The Flame have recorded two wins and two losses so far but will aim to rediscover their scoring form after netting eight goals against Camden across both meetings last season.
Camden face a challenging away trip but will look to deliver a spirited performance and claim their first win of 2026.
Gladesville Ryde Magic vs Central Coast United FC
5:30pm – Christie Park
Last season: Gladesville Ryde Magic 1-0 Central Coast United FC, Central Coast United FC 0-0 Gladesville Ryde Magic
Both Gladesville Ryde Magic and Central Coast United FC will look to end losing runs when they meet at Christie Park.
Gladesville suffered a 4-1 defeat to Nepean FC last week but will hope to secure their first home win of the season.
Central Coast United have lost three straight matches, most recently a 4-1 defeat to Parramatta FC, though their only win this season came away from home.
Granville Rage vs Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC
7pm – Garside Park
These two teams did not meet last season.
Granville Rage will chase a third consecutive win when they host Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC.
Granville recorded an entertaining 4-2 victory over Central Coast United FC last week and will aim to utilise their sharp passing and attacking movement once again.
Bonnyrigg, meanwhile, picked up their first win of the season with a commanding 5-0 victory over Bankstown United FC and will look to build on that momentum.
Bankstown United FC have a bye in Round 6.
