Futsal Premier League competitions ready to rock in September
The buzz and excitement for the 2025 Football NSW Futsal season is at fever pitch as the competition looks set to kick-off on Friday, 12th September in what promises to be one of the best years yet for the sport.
Fourteen rounds will make up the regular season for the Futsal Premier League, Futsal Premier League 2, and the Futsal Development League, while the NOVA Employment AWD Futsal League will feature an extra team added to the hugely popular category.
Sydney Futsal will be busily preparing for life in the top league as they won promotion to the Futsal Premier League while South Coast Taipans will be hoping to come back up following its relegation to the Futsal Premier League 2 competition.
It will also be a breakout year for newly formed Futsal Premier League 2 side Central Coast United Futsal who hope to make a name for themselves in its debut season.
A double header weekend has been highlighted once again with this taking place on the 27th and 28th of September.
Following the end of the regular season, the Championship Series will feature as Semi-Finals have been set for the 13th of December while Grand Finals will follow on the 20th of December.
There will also be several current Futsalroos on show for the 2025 season as the sport continues to grow and develop once more.
Football NSW’s Futsal Competitions Coordinator Wade Giovenali was eagerly anticipating a massive year for the code.
