The Football NSW Club Technical Development team delivered the final Club Capability Building Workshop for the 2025 season on Monday 26th August at Valentine Sports Park.

Over the course of the 2025 season, the Club Capability Workshops have been delivered to provide targeted support for Clubs participating in the Football NSW Junior Development League.

The workshops were designed to align with and reinforce the Benchmarking and Standards process, helping Clubs better understand expectations, improve operational practices, and enhance the overall development environment for players and staff, in line with the Football NSW strategic goals of supporting the growth of the game and providing leadership within the game.

The final workshop topic, delivered by Joe Fox and Stephen Bott, focused on supporting the Head of Program in their matchday environments, and was well attended by over 40 JDL coaches and Head of Programs.

The evening was made possible with the support of the Blacktown Spartans U11s mixed JDL squad, who took a break from their regular club training to lend a hand and enjoy a change of scenery.

“It was fantastic to see such a strong turnout from JDL Head of Programs and coaches this evening,” said Stephen Bott, Football NSW Club Technical Development Coordinator.

“The feedback on the workshops has been overwhelmingly positive, and we’re thrilled to see them making a meaningful impact in the JDL environments.”

Football NSW would like to thank Gabor Ganczor, Football Queensland Technical Director Female Pathways, for his attendance and the clubs that attended on the evening: APIA Leichardt FC, Bankstown City FC, Blacktown Spartans FC, Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC, Bulls FC Academy, Central Coast Mariners FC, Fraser Park FC, Gladesville Ravens, Granville Rage, Hawkesbury FC, Hills United FC, Illawarra Stingrays, Inter Lions FC, Macarthur Rams FC, Manly United FC, Marconi Stallions FC, Mt Druitt Town Rangers FC , Nepean FC, Rockdale Illinden FC, Rydalmere Lions FC, South Coast Flame FC, Southern Branch, Sutherland Sharks FC, Sydney Olympic FC, Sydney University SFC and UNSW FC.
