Football NSW Hosts Member Association Coach Education Workshop
Football NSW recently welcomed representatives from across our Member Associations for a Coach Education workshop centred around the Foundation of Football program.
The workshop placed a strong focus on Foundation of Football tutor processes and practical delivery sessions, designed to continue building the capacity of our Member Associations to deliver high-quality coach education within their regions.
The day provided a valuable opportunity to share best practice, align delivery approaches, and strengthen collaboration across the network.
Chris Adams, Football NSW Coach Education Manager, highlighted the significance of the event in fostering consistency and connection across the state.
“These workshops are crucial to ensure we maintain an aligned coach education network across NSW. Our Member Associations play a vital role in supporting coaches within their local communities, and it’s inspiring to see the commitment and quality they bring to this work.”
Grassroots Coach Development Lead, Paul Higgins, also praised the spirit of collaboration evident throughout the workshop.
“This event was a great success, not only in strengthening the delivery of the Foundation of Football course, but also in showcasing the strong connection between Football NSW and our Member Associations. The sharing of ideas, challenges, and solutions is what makes this network so effective.”
