In what has been hailed as one of the most remarkable performances in recent memory, Northern Suburbs Football Association’s Lindfield FC has made history at the 2025 Football NSW Champion of Champions finals, claiming victory in all four of its final appearances.

Taking out titles in the 15 Girls, 18 Women, 21 Women, and All Age Women divisions, Lindfield FC’s clean sweep at Valentine Sports Park stands as one of the most dominant efforts ever seen in the long-running competition. It was a showcase of consistency, strength, and the depth of a well-developed club program.

Lindfield FC President Mark Pittman described the achievement as a landmark moment in the club’s proud history.

“What an extraordinary achievement for Lindfield Football Club. Four grand final wins from four appearances in the 2025 Champion of Champions competition. It’s a moment of immense pride for our entire club, a historic milestone in our journey, and something we are incredibly proud of.”

The finals drew large crowds and a sea of blue and white, with Lindfield supporters turning out in full voice to back their teams. Pittman said the community spirit on display was a key part of the club’s success.

“The atmosphere at Valentine Sports Park on Sunday was electric. It was fantastic to see so many Lindfield supporters turn out to cheer on our finalists. The energy and passion in the stands created a truly special environment. Our players felt that support, especially in the two matches that went into extra time. It gave them the extra lift they needed when it mattered most.”

This dominant showing is the result of years of planning and commitment, particularly in the club’s female football program, which has seen significant growth in participation, performance, and coaching quality. Lindfield FC entered ten teams into this year’s Champion of Champions tournament, seven girls’ teams and three boys’ teams highlighting the club’s broad development success.

Pittman credited the results to the hard work of players, coaches, and volunteers who have built a strong culture of excellence within the club.

“This success is a testament to the strength and depth of our female football program, which has been steadily growing thanks to the dedication of our coaches, players, and volunteers. The club has invested a massive amount of work over the years to build this program, and it’s clear we’re on the right track. The results speak for themselves.”

Among the standout stories of the day was that of Lily Dimitrov-Johnson, who coached the Under 15 Girls to victory before lacing up her boots and taking to the field as a player in the Under 21 Women’s final later that day, adding a personal touch to an already unforgettable occasion.

Reflecting on the day, Pittman said the entire club should be proud, not just those who took home trophies.

“We’re incredibly proud of all ten teams who represented Lindfield FC in this year’s competition, both boys and girls. This is more than just a win; it’s a celebration of what’s possible when you put in the hard work, support each other, and truly love playing football.”

Lindfield FC’s four-title triumph at the 2025 Champion of Champions finals is more than just a piece of club history, it’s a shining example of what community sport can achieve when passion, planning, and people come together.
