Football NSW Claims Bronze at 2025 National Para Football Championships
Football NSW secured the Bronze Medal at the 2025 National Para Football Championships in Melbourne, delivering a commanding 6–0 victory over Football Queensland on Friday.
After narrowly missing the Championship Final for the first time since 2008, the NSW side entered the Bronze Medal match determined not to leave the Home of the Matildas empty-handed. From the opening whistle, they showcased their intent, producing a dominant and disciplined performance that ensured they finished the tournament on a high.
Following the conclusion of the Championships won by eventual champions Football West, a number of individual honours were announced. Football NSW’s prolific goalscorer Augustine Murphy claimed the Golden Boot, recognising him as the tournament’s leading scorer. Rising talent Riley Lyncolne was also celebrated, taking home the Young Player of the Tournament award.
