As part of its support to the Bathurst Cup and Proctor Park Challenge, Football NSW ran targeted CPD Coach Workshops, offering 1 hour of professional development in each session.
Ahead of the Bathurst Cup Boys Tournament, FNSW staff presented “Trends from the 2025 European Champions League” to 20 coaches. For the Proctor Park Challenge Girls Tournament, the workshop took a female-focused approach, covering “Trends from the European Women’s Euros” for 25 coaches.
Both workshops brought together coaches attending the tournaments and others from across Western NSW, creating a unique opportunity for learning, networking and sharing best practice.
The sessions were led by FNSW Regional Football Development Manager Andrew Fearnley, assisted by Regional Development Officers Ricky Guihot and Daniel Lucas.
Andrew Fearnley said: “These workshops are part of our plan to bring CPD to regional coaches and support key regional football events, helping strengthen coach development across NSW.”
