Football NSW Announces New Female-Only C Diploma Coaching Course
Football NSW has announced the release of a new Female-Only C Diploma course, set to take place at Valentine Sports Park, providing a supportive and inclusive environment for women looking to advance their coaching journey.
The course will run across four sessions:
- Saturday 11 April 2026 | 9:00am – 4:00pm
- Saturday 18 April 2026 | 9:00am – 4:00pm
- Saturday 2 May 2026 | 9:00am – 4:00pm
- Saturday 9 May 2026 | 9:00am – 4:00pm
Designed to equip coaches with foundational skills and practical, hands-on experience, the C Diploma supports the development of coaches working with players in their formative years. It represents a key step for those beginning their coaching journey, as well as those looking to formalise their existing experience with an official qualification.
To further support accessibility, partial scholarships are available through the CommBank Growing Football Fund, helping more women take the next step in their coaching pathway.
Football NSW Female Football Coordinator Emma Griffin highlighted the importance of the initiative: “This female-only course gives women a supportive environment to build coaching skills, confidence and connections. Partial scholarships make it even more accessible, helping to strengthen the expertise and representation of female coaches across NSW.”
Coaches must have completed the Foundation of Football qualification prior to enrolling in the C Diploma.
