2026 Sapphire Cup Round 2 and Round 3 Draws Released
The first steps to potential silverware have been revealed with the completion of the Round 2 and Round 3 draws for the 2026 Sapphire Cup.
41 teams are vying for the trophy – 21 Association Clubs, 7 Football NSW League One Women’s Clubs and 13 NPL Women’s NSW clubs.
Round 2 consists of nine matches involving Association and Football NSW League One representatives, with the winners progressing to Round 3 to join ten clubs not drawn in Round 2 and the NPL Women’s NSW representatives.
The draw has already thrown up some exciting fixtures for Round 3, with five association clubs drawn against NPL Women’s NSW opposition: Lane Cove FC (vs Sydney Olympic), Sans Souci FC (vs Manly United), Lindfield FC (vs Illawarra Stingrays), Banksia Tigers (vs Macarthur Rams) and Moorebank Sports SC (vs UNSW FC).
