2026 Sapphire Cup Semi-Finals Locked In
The 2026 Football NSW Sapphire Cup Quarter-Final lineup has been finalised following two key results on Tuesday and Wednesday night, with Northern Tigers FC and Manly United joining Hills United FC and UNSW FC in the final four of the prestigious knockout competition.
At North Turramurra Recreation Area on Tuesday night, Northern Tigers FC produced a commanding 3-0 victory over Illawarra Stingrays to book their place in the semi-finals. Shadeene Evans set the tone in the 28th minute with the opening goal before Lily McMahon struck shortly after the restart to double the advantage. Tanaye Morris then put the contest beyond doubt in the 57th minute, sealing a polished performance and sending the Tigers through in style.
On Wednesday night at Wanderers Football Park, Manly United secured their own semi-final berth with a composed 2-0 win. Goals from Brinley Gentle and Sienna Dale proved decisive as Manly controlled key moments of the contest to book their spot in the next phase of the tournament.
The semi-final matchups are now confirmed, with Hills United FC set to face UNSW FC, while Northern Tigers FC will take on Manly United. Official dates and kick-off times are to be announced in due course.
